Roddly

Terms of Service

Last updated: 15 September 2026

These Terms govern use of Roddly (the "Service"), operated by IndexHub Ltd ("IndexHub", "we", "us"). By creating an account or connecting a WhatsApp Business Account, the business and its users ("you") agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

Roddly is a software-as-a-service platform that connects a business's WhatsApp Business Account to an AI assistant. It receives incoming WhatsApp messages (including voice notes), understands them, retrieves relevant passages from the business's uploaded knowledge base, and generates customer-service replies. The Service is provided on an "as available" basis and depends on third-party providers, including the Meta WhatsApp Cloud API and Google's Gemini API.

2. Accounts and eligibility

You must provide accurate account information, keep your credentials secure, and be authorised to connect the WhatsApp Business Account you link. You are responsible for all activity under your workspace.

3. Your customers' consent and acceptable use

You are solely responsible for your relationship with your own customers, including obtaining any consent required to message them, to process their messages and voice notes through an AI service, and to comply with Meta's WhatsApp Business policies and applicable law. You must not use the Service to:

You are responsible for reviewing AI-generated replies where your use case requires it; AI output can be imperfect and is not professional (legal, medical, or financial) advice.

4. Billing — subscription and credits

The Service is offered on a subscription basis, and message processing and AI usage are metered through a credits balance. Plans, included allowances, and credit pricing are as shown at sign-up or in your account. Subscription fees are billed in advance and are non-refundable except where required by law; credits are consumed as you use the Service. Failure to pay, or exhausting credits, may suspend AI processing until resolved.

5. Intellectual property

IndexHub retains all rights in the Service. You retain all rights in your knowledge-base content and conversation data, and grant us a limited licence to process it solely to provide the Service (see the Privacy Policy).

6. Third-party services

Your use of the Service is also subject to the terms of Meta (WhatsApp) and Google (Gemini). We are not responsible for those providers' availability, changes, or actions.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided without warranties of any kind. IndexHub is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from use of the Service or from AI-generated content. Our total aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid for the Service in the three months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

8. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms, non-payment, or where required to protect the Service or comply with law. On termination, data is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms and will update the "last updated" date above. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, United Kingdom, and the courts of that jurisdiction have exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections available to you locally. IndexHub Ltd is registered in England and Wales, United Kingdom.
